Pall Corporation
Our firm recently secured planning approval for a roof raise project at Pall Corporation’s substantial 150-meter long commercial building in Cornwall. This project was undertaken to enhance the building’s sustainability and energy efficiency while maintaining its overall architectural integrity.
To inform the proposal, a meticulous measured survey of the existing building was conducted. This provided essential data for developing a design that would allow for a roof raise without compromising the building’s structural stability. The proposed alteration was carefully considered in terms of its impact on the surrounding area, ensuring compliance with local planning regulations.
This made for a great elevation drawing!

A key element of the project was the installation of solar panels on the newly elevated roof. This strategic move will enable Pall Corporation to generate clean energy on-site, contributing significantly to the company’s sustainability goals. By optimising the building’s potential for renewable energy generation, this project aligns with our firm’s commitment to improving the energy efficiency of businesses in the Cornish region.
The successful outcome of the planning application marks a significant step forward for Pall Corporation and for sustainable development in Cornwall. We are proud to have contributed to this project and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on both the company and the local environment.
If you have a similar commercial project we would love to hear from you and work together to unlock your site’s potential.
